Non-Members can become Friends of Piste Haus and will be given access to the Booking Engine to make bookings at the Lodge. Friends of Piste Haus have an established connection with the Lodge and its members. Others can be given this status by contacting the Booking Officer giving the details of their connection with the Lodge.

Booking Rules for Friends of Piste Haus (Off Season)
A. Bookings at the Lodge are strictly by room and do not depend on the number of people in the room (up to maximum capacity). The room price is at the Friends of Piste Haus rate.
B. Bookings for Friends of Piste Haus for the off season open at 9am on Jun 1 (i.e., just before the start of the ski season prior to that off season). At this time the entire (although see below) of the following off- season is available to be booked and there is no restriction on the total number of nights that can be booked. The Booking Officer may however restrict the booking of high demand periods such as the Christmas/New Year period. The BO will have discretion to reserve rooms in special circumstances.
C. All bookings are made subject to the approval of the Booking Officer. Piste Haus reserves the right to reject applications not in the best interest of Lodge Members.
D. Payment for bookings must be made by a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) at the time of booking. In exceptional circumstances payment may be made within 7 days by arrangement with the Booking Officer, unpaid bookings will be automatically cancelled soon after that time (examples include; special winter booking arrangements and whole of lodge bookings).
E. Bookings may be cancelled through the online system by the person who made the booking. This action will automatically generate a credit. For cancellations more than 60 days in advance a full credit is given. For cancellations more than 30 days in advance the maximum credit is the amount paid less 50%. For cancellations less than 30 days in advance there is no credit or refund. Where the room is re-booked the equivalent value will be credited less a $25% administration fee.
F. Refunds for cancelled bookings when requested and where credits are not fully used are made by EFT as soon as possible. To make a refund the Booking Officer must be given banking details. An option to allow some refunds to be made by credit card is being evaluated.
G. All occupants (including children) must be booked into a room on the online system, along with their emergency contact number. This is a mandatory non-negotiable requirement, ensuring that all people occupying the Lodge are registered.
H. Member’s and Friends of Piste Haus Off Season Whole Lodge bookings are for a minimum of 2 days.
I. Charging of electric vehicles and electric bikes at the Lodge is not permitted for safety and insurance purposes. The nearest charging station is the NRMA Charging Station at 3 Snowy Avenue, Jindabyne.
Booking Rules for Friends of Piste Haus (Season)
A. Bookings at the Lodge include two people in the room and there is an extra cost per person for extra people (up to maximum capacity of the room). The price is at the Friends of Piste Haus rate.
B. Bookings open at times that depend on the type of Booking to be made. The open schedule is as follows:

Other Booking Conditions
- Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
- Weekly bookings start at 1pm on a Sunday and end at 11am on the following Sunday.
- Check in time is 1pm. Check out time is 11am.
- Bookings will be listed on the booking calendar posted on the Notice Board in the foyer of the Lodge. This booking calendar will indicate the name and number of people booked into each room. People leaving before their bookings finish should alter this sheet and notify the Booking Officer.
- All cleaning duties must be carried out and rooms vacated by 11am on the day of departure. Luggage may be left in the foyer and the ground floor facilities may be used until 5pm.
- The Booking Officer will appoint a Lodge Captain for the period of your stay. The role of the Lodge Captain is to manage the use and amenity of the Lodge.
